These are some of my favorite places in Banos...

Pancho's Snack Bar (www.panchos.banios.com) is a nice fast food restaurant and offers great hamburger for 1.25$. Located in the front of the main park.

Straydog is an international bar-restaurant. Really good food for a small price and different types of home brewed beer. Located at the corner of the main park.

Swiss Bistro (www.swiss-bistro.com) offers delicious Swiss and international menus. I highly recommend this famous restaurant.

Quilombo, steak-restaurant owned by an Argentinian guy. May be the best in meat in Banos. In front of the Montalvo park.

Pappardelle (www.pappardelle-ristorante.com), Italian restaurant with great pizza and pasta. Rocafuerte street and 16 de Diciembre.

On Eloy Alfaro street you will find dozens of bars and discotheques. One of my favorite is Leprechaun bar.
